Juventus and Milan may be difficult to separate again
Six Serie A clubs have maximum points after two rounds, with Juventus and AC Milan both part of that group. The old rivals were also separated by only one point in last season’s final table.
Their two league meetings last term ended 0-0. The most recent of those matches, played in April, produced a combined xG of only 1.17, so recent meetings have offered very little between the sides.
Juventus and Milan have each started with two wins, which reduces the need for either side to force the issue at this early stage of the campaign. They also collected 22 league draws between them last season.
Juventus are without Kenan Yildiz, while Jonathan David left on loan on deadline day and Nick Woltemade arrived on loan from Newcastle United after falling out of favour there. Those changes leave Juventus with a different attacking set-up for this fixture.
