Aston Villa vs Nottingham Forest Predictions
Forest can add to Villa's league problems
Aston Villa have taken one point from their first three Premier League games, drawing once and losing twice. They are also yet to score in the competition after losing a host of players over the summer.
There was some relief in midweek as Villa recorded a morale-boosting Champions League win at Club Brugge. The trip to Belgium, however, leaves them with a quick turnaround before Saturday's home fixture.
Nottingham Forest are still looking for their first victory under new boss Oliver Glasner after a difficult start. Their recent results have offered encouragement, with a point away to Liverpool followed by another against Tottenham at home.
Forest also have an awkward recent memory of Villa Park. They arrived for the second leg of last season's Europa League semi-final with a 1-0 advantage before losing 4-0 and going out, while their recent record at this ground remains poor.
Even so, points against Liverpool and Tottenham are better league results than Villa have managed so far. With Villa still without a Premier League goal, I’m backing Nottingham Forest to Win at 3.60.

One goal may settle the Villa Park contest
Aston Villa have failed to score in all three of their Premier League games, while Nottingham Forest have drawn blanks in two of their three league matches.
That lack of goals on both sides leaves little evidence for a high-scoring afternoon. One goal may be enough to decide a fixture involving two teams still searching for greater attacking output.
Forest have at least collected points against Liverpool away and Tottenham at home. Villa, by comparison, have one point from three league games and must also recover from their midweek trip to Belgium.
James McAtee was probably Forest's best performer against Spurs last time out. He had three shots from outside the box, with one on target and one blocked, providing a threat from range despite Forest's wider scoring problems.
Forest's points against Liverpool and Tottenham make Nottingham Forest 1-0 very appealing at 11.00.
